Finding Orlando Hotels Using the Internet
By Joe Duchesne

You've been talking things over with your spouse and you've decided that it's time for a vacation in the Orlando area. A nice Orlando hotel would be just the ticket. To save time you've decided to use the internet. Now the question is, what method is most likely to land the perfect hotel for you? Read on to find out.

First you should use the major search engines. Search engines like Google, Yahoo or MSN are most likely to be useful in your search. You'll need to know the answer to a few questions. Things like, what major attractions do you plan to visit? What kind of budget do you have in mind? How long do you plan to stay? How many people to a room? Do you need high speed internet? Do you want access to a pool?

With the answers to these questions and more in mind, you are ready to dig into your hotel research. What search terms should you use when searching? I would start with the easy ones first. Search keywords like 'Orlando Hotel', 'orlando motel', 'orlando resort' should give you a good place to start. From there, you can add the answers to some of the questions you had above. For instance, if you want a pool and high speed internet at your hotel, you could type in something like 'orlando hotel “high speed internet” pool'. In this last example, you would use double quotes around high speed internet because it is one search term. By using quotes you are telling the search engines to look only for sites that have this three word combination in it.

Don't overlook hotel directories like this one when you are looking for hotels. While some of them may prove useless, many of them have very useful information on them about various hotels.
