Orlando, Florida, USA does not have an abundance of hostels or youth hostels. They only have one true hostel. However, there are some economy hotels that offer hostel pricing. When travel in groups, hostels can offer an affordable way to do it. Also, they have a more relaxed atmosphere. Many times people meet other groups or individuals from all over the globe and sometimes travel together.

Meeting new people is so easy at hostels because of the set up at most of them. They usually have rooms set up for women, men and co-ed. Many times there are multiple beds or bunk beds and everyone shares the space. Some hostels offer private rooms for an additional price for those that may want more privacy such as married couples. Other areas at hostels are shared common spaces as well. The kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment area and any outdoor space are all usually open for anyone to use as needed. Some provide small meals included in the price, however it is always good to be sure.

Orlando’s only hostel is in a great location, five minutes from Disney World. They have male and female bunk rooms that can hold eight people. They are located on a lake with plenty of wildlife to look at as well. They offer their guests a pool area and even have a stage area. This can prove to be a lot of fun for any traveling musicians and bands, plus they will get one free night for performing.
